Rico Rally Europe 2012 is a 2,000 mile driving event where like minded petrolheads can drive their cars through some beautiful scenery on empty roads and enjoy great company. You can catch up with each other every evening in quality hotels to dine, drink and tell each other tall stories about your cars, your adventures that day and driving encounters in the past.

RICO RALLY IS NOT A RACE OR TIME TRIAL; it’s a car tour that visits amazing destinations via some equally amazing roads and scenery… if you fancy seeing some great parts of Europe, visiting the very best locations and driving some of the world’s best roads, all in the company of like-minded petrolheads, then Rico Rally is the annual event for you.

Our route avoids traffic and lorries, and follows empty roads leading you over mountain passes with breathtaking scenery, through empty rural villages and across some truly beautiful open countryside. We think simply driving down miles of motorway or major roads is pointless.

Daily mileages vary. Some will be challenging but not so excessive that you arrive at the hotel at midnight with no time to socialise. There should be no night driving (unless you get totally lost). There are no time constraints or destination arrival deadlines.

 Whether you’re a group of mates or a couple, everyone is welcome.

What’s the cost?

£895 per person based on a minimum of 2 people per car, sharing accommodation.

The Route

Mountain passes, open highways, lush, rolling landscapes… drive across some of Europe’s most scenic routes, the road unwinding before you… hairpin bends, stunning views and empty roads that unwind forever… it’s guaranteed to be heart-in-your-mouth perfection on wheels! Locations and route suggestions won’t be revealed until each morning of the event to keep the excitement factor high and stop people setting off early [cheating] to arrive first at the day’s destination. You have been warned.
